Why Umbrella Stories

I love writing and storytelling, and I have decided it is time to share my stories.

Why did I name my short story site Umbrella Stories? Rainy days are the best days for curling up with a good story! After a rain storm, the world seems so fresh and new, like it's begging to be explored, just like a good story. So come and join me in exploring and puddle jumping through stories!

I have six story categories here on Umbrella Stories: Love, Friendship, Solo Adventurers, Empathy, Hero and Celebration Stories.

Love Stories: I'm a sucker for a happy ending, a cute fairy tale, two people devoting their lives to each other.

Friendship Stories: Not looking for romance? I get that. Sometimes you want a story about friends making their way in the world, and that's what you'll find here.

Solo Adventurers: Stories that focus on one person's perspective on some kind of adventure. These stories tend to focus on one person's growth over the course of the story.

Empathy Stories: Come look at the world from a different perspective with me! Think of this as if these walls could tell stories moments.

Hero Stories: So fun fact about me, I dislike superhero movies, but I love a good superhero story! Or really any hero story, so here is where you will find my tales of heroes. Also, check out my multi-part story, In Another World!

Celebration Stories: These are the stories that are written for website milestones or for birthdays and holidays that don't quite fit into another category.
